Our Team

At the core of our services is a team of experienced professionals, deeply committed to guiding and nurturing every aspect of your child's growth.

Between our Chief Operating Officer, Director of Training, and Operations and Clinical Directors, our IBHS leadership team of Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) has a combined 50+ years of ABA experience.

With formal Organizational Behavior Management (OBM) training, we are committed to implementing evidence-based practices throughout the whole organization. Some of our additional specialties include functional assessments, early intensive services, and, severe problem behavior.

Our leadership’s training in behavior analysis was completed at a variety of highly regarded programs such as the Kennedy Krieger Institute, May Institute, University of Maryland Baltimore County, Temple University, and West Virginia University.

Our IBHS leaders bring unique experiences and expertise to Aspire, from being published for their research, to presenting at ABA conferences and symposiums across the country.

For decades, Dr. Friedman has tirelessly practiced as a certified school psychologist and consulted with numerous agencies providing psycho-educational testing and other psychological services. Dr. Friedman started her own private practice and expanded it to offer Clinical Assessments and Intensive Behavioral Health Services (IBHS) for children with autism spectrum disorder.

Under Drew's leadership, Aspire Child & Family Services emerged as a beacon of hope for families navigating the challenges of autism and related diagnoses. Specializing in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services, the organization became a trusted ally for parents seeking comprehensive and individualized support for their children.

Jennie has been a practicing BCBA/LBS for over a decade and has worked at the renowned May Institute and Kennedy Krieger Institute. Her specialties include Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Severe Problem Behavior, Feeding Disorders and more. Jennie’s work has been published several times, on topics ranging from Functional Analysis to Parent Training.

Specializing in Education and Behavioral Health, Anna is passionate about connecting professionals with roles that support children with diverse needs. Inspired by personal experiences raising a child with autism, Anna actively contributes to creating awareness and accessibility to services in these crucial fields.

Director of Operations

Amanda is a BCBA/LBS with over a decade of ABA industry experience which includes residential facilities, in-home, school, and clinic-based programs, and clinical training. Amanda has been published and has presented research at numerous national ABA conferences.

Monica Drowos

Monica Drowos

Training Director

Monica has worked across multiple in-home, school, and residential facilities, expanding her repertoire from problem behavior to include skill acquisition programming. Monica completed a practicum at the prestigious Kennedy Krieger Institute on the Neurobehavioral Inpatient Unit. She has presented at numerous ABA conferences on topics including caregiver functional assessments, token systems, OBM, and more.

Arielle Duinkerken

Clinical Director, IBHS Director

Arielle is a board-certified behavior analyst and has worked in the home, community, and school settings with both children and adults. She has supervised and trained on reducing interfering behaviors, skill acquisition programming, parent education, and implementation of assessments such as the Verbal Behavior Milestones Assessment and Placement Program (VB-MAPP) and the Vineland Adaptive Behavior Scales assessment.

Her professional journey is marked by an unwavering commitment to assisting children who grapple with challenges in their academic, social, or personal lives, providing them with invaluable insights and tailored solutions through a comprehensive assessment process.

Dr. Colleen Murphy

Dr. Colleen Murphy

Psychologist

Colleen Murphy is a licensed psychologist and graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and the University of Virginia. Her doctoral internship was spent at UVA’s Children’s Medical Center where she was a pediatric psychology intern. Her dissertation was a study of how children learn illness-related concepts, and how this learning is affected by chronic illness. She spent the majority of her career working in a residential treatment facility with persons with significant developmental disabilities. The focus of this work was around the management of severe, and sometimes life-threatening, behavior problems.
