Comprehensive Diagnostic Testing

At Aspire Child & Family Services, we understand that pursuing answers about a developmental, learning, or behavioral concern can feel overwhelming. Our specialists provide thorough, compassionate evaluations to identify each individual’s strengths, challenges, and unique needs with clarity and precision. Through trusted diagnostic testing for Autism, ADHD, specific learning disabilities (such as dyslexia, dysgraphia, and dyscalculia), intellectual disability, developmental delays, communication disorders, and social–emotional or behavioral conditions, we help create a clear path forward so individuals can access the right supports, interventions, and long-term services tailored to their goals.

What Is Autism Diagnostic Testing?

Autism diagnostic testing is a comprehensive evaluation used to determine whether a child meets criteria for Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). At Aspire Child & Family Services, we utilize gold-standard tools such as the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule, Second Edition (ADOS 2), along with other assessments deemed appropriate, to ensure a thorough and accurate diagnosis.

These evaluations help families understand their child’s unique strengths and challenges, leading to earlier intervention and more effective support strategies.

Who Is This Evaluation For?

Our diagnostic testing services are designed to support a wide range of needs. At Aspire Child & Family Services, we offer care and support for individuals from childhood through the lifespan, including those who:

  • Show signs of developmental delays, difficulties with language, social interaction, play, or demonstrates restricted or repetitive patterns of behavior.
  • Are seeking diagnostic clarity or updated evaluations for ongoing support
  • Have been referred by pediatricians, primary care providers, schools, or behavioral health professionals

Our practice proudly serves individuals in Philadelphia, Bucks County, Montgomery County, and nearby communities.

What to Expect During the Evaluation

When you schedule an autism diagnostic evaluation with our specialists, you can expect:

  1. Initial Intake and Clinical Interview

A comprehensive interview to gather developmental, medical, educational, and social history

  2. Direct Testing Session

Assessments as needed, which may include measures of cognitive abilities, academic skills, memory, reasoning, executive functioning, adaptive skills, social-emotional functioning, and/or direct one-on-one testing using the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule, Second Edition (ADOS-2), a gold-standard tool for identifying autism-related behaviors

  3. Rating Scales

Rating scales completed by parents, teachers, or other informants to provide insight into functioning across different settings

  4. Feedback and Results

Each evaluation concludes with a detailed written report and a feedback session to discuss findings, diagnosis if applicable, and clear recommendations for next steps.

We provide standardized IQ testing to measure problem-solving, reasoning, memory, and learning potential. These results can guide academic planning, workplace accommodations, or personal development goals.

Learning Disability Assessments

Our assessments identify learning differences such as dyslexia, dysgraphia, or dyscalculia. Results are used to create tailored strategies and accommodations that help individuals succeed academically, professionally, and personally.

ADHD Testing

ADHD evaluations combine self-reports, caregiver or teacher feedback, and standardized testing. This process clarifies patterns of attention, focus, and executive functioning, leading to personalized recommendations and support strategies for individuals across the lifespan.
