Autism Testing
Assessment of Autism Spectrum Disorder
Assessments are used to determine clinical criteria related to symptomology characteristics of a child with autism.
These comprehensive reports include use of the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule, Second Edition (ADOS-2), which is revered as the gold standard of diagnostic assessments of children with autism. Additional testing is used to assess language development, cognitive abilities and executive functioning skills, along with adaptive or daily living skills. A diagnosis is the first step to receiving treatment. Please see the Autism Services Guide and the Intensive Behavioral Health Services pages for information on obtaining support.
