Aspire Child & Family Services assists families in the Delaware, Bucks, and Montgomery counties outside Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. We offer center-based ABA services and have immediate daytime openings for your child.
Center-Based ABA Services
Research shows that high intensity (30-40 hours a week) Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services that start early, during a child's critical development period (ages 1-6), tend to have the greatest outcomes long-term. Our program adheres to the scientific research and is highly customized and tailored to your child's unique needs.
Benefits of center-based ABA:
- Dedicates space to practice and learn new skills (Home environment may not be conducive to learning new skills)
- Provides an alternative to at-home services if that environment was not conducive to learning new skills
- Offers an alternative to daycare settings due to behavior or skill deficits
- Opportunities for peer play and social skill building
- Opportunities for your child to learn crucial school readiness skills
- Increases the opportunity for generalization of skills to everyday settings
- Increases staff collaboration and in-the-moment feedback to fully support your child's needs
What to expect:
Your child will be supported in their one-on-one learning and work on individualized skills such as play, communication, and learner readiness skills needed for a school setting.

Additional techniques and activities:
- Discrete Trial Training (DTT) is a well-known ABA technique that is a structured learning intervention
- Trials begin with an antecedent ("Say hi"), which may be followed by a prompt (may be a verbal/nonverbal modeled response)
- If the child responds correctly, a reinforcement is provided (tangible toys, food, anything highly desired by the child)
- If the child does not respond appropriately, the correct response is given, and no reinforcement is provided.
- Ability to run many discrete trials allows for excess practice of skills
- Ability to teach children small manageable steps towards more complex behaviors
- Prompts are eventually faded to promote independence and generalization to the natural environment
